Terms
of use
These terms cover the use of socialoakvalley.com. By reading the site you accept them as they stand on the day you read.
socialoakvalley.com is a written guide to eighteen hotels and resorts, describing their surroundings and how the buildings answer them. It is the whole of what we offer.
The site is editorial and informational. We are not a travel agent, not an intermediary and not a booking service. No reservation can be made here and no enquiry is passed to any hotel.
Descriptions of surroundings are compiled from published material and from maps. They are not statements about weather, season, temperature or wildlife, and nothing on this site should be read as a forecast or a guarantee of what you will find.
Information may age. Hotels change names, operators and arrangements, and we may not learn of it at once. Nothing here is warranted as current on the day you read it.
We publish no opening hours, no seasons of operation, no schedules and no timetables. Where such details matter to you, take them from the hotel directly.
Nothing on this site is advice to buy, book or travel. Decisions taken after reading are yours.
Where we link out, the linked site is run by somebody else and we are not responsible for its content or its practices.
The text of this site belongs to its editors. Photographs belong to their respective holders. Quoting a short passage with a link is fine; republishing entries is not.
We correct factual errors. Any reader may report one, and a hotel or its operator may send a correction about itself. We check it against published sources and amend the entry. Nobody pays for a correction and nobody pays to prevent one.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on this site, including loss connected with a journey, a stay or a booking made elsewhere.
These terms may change. The version published here is the one that applies.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.
The Casino Hotels section describes buildings and their surroundings only. It does not describe, rate or recommend any gaming floor, and it contains nothing about odds, bonuses, wagers, promotions or loyalty schemes.
Casinos are for adults only. In Canada the minimum age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Québec; elsewhere it depends on where you are.
If gambling stops being a game: in Ontario, ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600; in Québec, 1-800-461-0140; in British Columbia, 1-888-795-6111. Outside Canada, look up the helpline for your own country.
